Crank Brothers Egg Beater 1 clipless pedals

The Crank Brothers Egg Beater 1 pedals feature Enduro Bearings and Igus II bearings. Still not cheap for a whisk, but really good value for a pedal with this outstanding functionality and low weight.

With entry from all four sides, a high-quality chromoly axle and superb performance in mud and slush. The weight of the Eggbeater Chrome pedals is still well below that of other pedals in this price range, e.g. the Shimano 959 at 346 grams. As with all Crank Brothers pedals, the spring tension does not need to be adjusted. The clamping arms work like a pair of scissors: the harder you pull on the pedal, the greater the clamping force. This design allows the release force to be kept low without you having to worry about accidentally unclipping from the pedal during sprints or climbs.

Included in delivery: pedals, cleats, screws. The cleats on Crank Brothers pedals are not compatible with Shimano SPD cleats.
