To develop the fastest pedal ever, LOOK has redesigned the pedal’s iconic and aerodynamic profile. A smaller frontal area and a completely new aerodynamic profile of the leading edge work together to reduce drag by 2 per cent compared to the previous KEO BLADE design.
The new Look Keo Blade New Carbon pedals weigh just 150 grams per pedal. Thanks to the centrally positioned carbon spring, they are even more aerodynamic and suitable for downhill riding. The further enlarged 64 mm pedal surface and almost doubled contact area of 705 mm ensure perfect power transfer with the Look Keo Blade pedal. Triple-bearing stainless steel axle, stainless steel contact surface. The Keo Blade series features the largest contact surface, a low-friction stainless steel insert in the pedal surface, a carbon pedal body and a carbon release spring.
The new benchmark in road bike pedals, featuring innovative carbon blade technology. The carbon spring eliminates the need for a traditional spring – the specific properties of the blade make clipping in and out even faster and more precise, whilst maintaining a sensationally low weight. At the same time, the Keo Blade features one of the widest contact surfaces on the market, at 700 mm. This ensures unrivalled pedalling stability, even in hectic race situations.
The Look Keo Blade Carbon pedals are available in four spring stiffnesses: 8 Nm, 12 Nm (the standard version for road racing and marathon use), 16 Nm for sprinting and time trials, and 20 Nm for track use. Three versions of the Keo Grip cleats are available: the standard grey cleats with 4.5 degrees of freedom of movement, the black ones with 0 degrees, and the red ones with 9 degrees.
