SRAM’s new XX1 Eagle groupset operates quietly, intuitively, precisely and flawlessly. Designed specifically for cross-country use, this groupset combines the latest SRAM 1x shifting technology with consistent lightweight construction. With a total gear ratio of 500 per cent, the XX1 Eagle offers even smoother and more precise shifting, optimised durability and performance.

SRAM XX1 Eagle X – Horizon rear derailleur

The new rear derailleur for the SRAM XX1 Eagle 12-speed groupset. The new Eagle rear derailleur not only has greater capacity; it also represents the next stage of the proven X-HORIZON technology, developed specifically for 1x drivetrains. The lower, larger 14-tooth X-SYNC pulley ensures sufficient capacity to handle cassettes with sprockets ranging from 10 to 52 teeth. The design of the rear derailleur remains compact. Its torque curve is even smoother thanks to our new Type-3 ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH, ensuring quieter and smoother shifting. U

SRAM Cage Lock:

To enable quick and easy removal of the rear wheel, SRAM uses Cage Lock Technology on the XX1 Eagle rear derailleurs. At the touch of a button, the derailleur cage locks into place and can be pivoted without tension, making wheel removal significantly easier. Once the rear wheel has been refitted, the cage pivots far forward, the spring tension is re-engaged, and the derailleur is ready for the trail.
