The new Shimano XT rear derailleur, with a slimmer design and repositioned pulleys, offers even greater precision.

Equipped with a wider parallelogram, the XT 780 Shadow rear derailleur offers greater vertical stability, which reduces the rear derailleur hitting the right seatstay on rough trails. The rear derailleur is precisely positioned and functions perfectly. Particular attention was paid to keeping the weight as low as possible and ensuring crisp shifting for extreme use. The cable length has been reduced, as less cable means less friction and therefore better feedback.
