The advanced Orbit chain management system ensures quiet and reliable operation, whatever the terrain. The rear derailleur is also faster, featuring larger X-Sync pulleys, ceramic bearings, improved motors and signal transmitters that enhance performance in every respect. Wireless connectivity via the AIREA network ensures a quick and clean installation.

SRAM Force AXS eTap:

AXS is the electronic integration platform that connects SRAM’s electronic bike components and software. AXS components communicate wirelessly using 128-bit encryption. Each time a groupset comprising, for example, shift levers, a front derailleur and a rear derailleur is paired, a unique code is generated to prevent interference with other cyclists. The SRAM AXS app allows you to view battery status, adjust component behaviour, customise controllers, receive maintenance reminders and update the firmware. This app is available free of charge from the App Store for iOS and Android

SRAM Orbit Technology

Orbit technology uses a special silicone fluid as part of a very lightweight damping system. Compared to a conventional friction clutch system, the technology produces no additional resistance on the rear derailleur spring during slow or light movement. This means smoother shifting and easier removal of the rear wheel. Whilst riding, the fluid damper keeps the chain reliably under control.
