The compact road bike saddle, the Fizik Vento Argo R3, with a K:ium saddle frame. The short saddle shape in a short-nose design with low-profile padding is ideal for racing.

The short design of the Vento Argo allows the rider to sit further forward. This enables an aerodynamic riding position and ensures greater pressure on the pedals.

Fizik Vento Argo saddle shape:

Designed for racing, the short saddle shape offers perfect power transfer. The semi-circular saddle shell is particularly flexible at the sides. Suitable for a sporty riding position with moderate to high saddle height. The composite fibreglass co-injected nylon shell is produced using a special injection process in which a 0.7 mm thick thermoformed carbon layer is overmoulded with a nylon layer reinforced with carbon fibres. Thanks to Fizik’s special Reactive Low-Profile padding, which is slightly thicker in the area of the ischial tuberosities, the Vento Argo saddle offers excellent pressure distribution and cushioning.

Fizik K:ium frame:

K:ium is a special alloy of silicon and chromium. Thanks to a special finishing process, these two elements provide a high degree of corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance. The round K:ium frames are 8 per cent lighter and more stable than conventional titanium frames and are compatible with all standard 2-strut seatposts

Fizik Wing-Flex saddle shell:

Wing Flex technology, a shell that flexes at the sides, allows the cyclist greater freedom of movement in the thighs whilst seated, thereby increasing pedalling power. The Wing Flex shell flexes downwards in the critical area where the inner thighs come into contact with the saddle, enabling a more efficient and complete range of motion when pedalling. Whether the rider has large or narrow thighs, a wide or narrow pelvis: the saddle adapts to the rider, not the rider to the saddle.

Argo is our most versatile saddle shape, and each variant suits different riding styles. In the racing version, the Vento Argo was developed to offer an optimal riding experience for road bikes with aggressive geometry. The padding consists of Fizik’s proprietary Type 1 foam formulation, which features a lower profile and is reactive and springy to respond instantly and ensure optimal power transfer. The short length of the Vento Argo allows the rider to sit further forward without placing excessive strain on sensitive areas. It also features an ergonomic cut-out, developed using detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts. The carefully designed shape helps you achieve a better riding position: the lowered nose supports the pubic bone when the pelvis rotates forwards to transfer more power or adopt a more aerodynamic position.
