Manitou Mezzer Expert suspension fork

The new Manitou Mezzer Expert Enduro and Trail forks. Extremely stiff thanks to the Reverse Arch fork crown, the Mezzer with its 37mm stanchions is nevertheless lightweight. The VTT 6 damper offers genuine lockout whilst maintaining a very sensitive response. The travel can be adjusted internally from 140 to 180 mm. This makes the forks highly versatile.

A top-class fork for anyone competing in the Enduro class who doesn’t want to blow their entire budget: the Manitou Mezzer Expert is the newest member of the Mezzer family and is built from the same chassis as its big sister, the Mezzer Pro. 37 mm stanchions, the Reverse Arch design and the special construction using 7000 series aluminium make the Mezzer Expert the second-lightest enduro fork on the market, just behind the Mezzer Pro.

Manitou Expert Air IVA

The Expert Air IVA suspension offers ultimate sensitivity. The IVA adjustment changes the volume in the positive air chamber. This self-contained air volume reduction system allows for quick adjustment of the suspension curve from degressive to progressive without the need to rebuild the fork. The Expert Air suspension system also features a balancing valve that equalises the positive and negative air chambers during inflation.

Manitou VTT 6:

The VTT features a 6-position rebound adjustment and lockout without compromising performance in the open and mid-range settings. Two shim stacks allow the damping characteristics to be adjusted to be locked, degressive or progressive, meeting the demands of the rider and the terrain in every situation. The VTT-6P compression, specially developed for the Mezzer Expert, provides the necessary damping, allowing both high-speed and low-speed compression to be adjusted simultaneously to the terrain. A separate shim stack enables fine adjustment across 6 positions via external adjustment.

Manitou Mezzer Reverse Arch Chassis

Long-proven, the stanchion unit with a rear-mounted connection. This enables a stanchion unit that is more torsionally rigid whilst keeping weight low. As a result, 32mm stanchions can be used to save weight, whilst maintaining stiffness on a par with suspension forks featuring 38–40mm stanchions.

The integrated mudguard can be fitted to or removed from the fork crown using just three small screws.
