Tyre: Maxxis Ardent Exo Dual

The Ardent bridges the gap between the Ikon and the Ardent, between a fast XC tyre and a trail tyre. Its tread pattern is medium-height; whilst the centre knobs are closely spaced, they leave enough space for good self-cleaning and are bevelled to reduce rolling resistance. Maxxis Tubeless Ready, TR

Tubeless tyres have many advantages: you can ride with lower air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And with no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for fitting with sealant than other Tubeless Ready tyres. The bead of TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a genuine UST tubeless tyre. This ensures that tubeless fitting on all rims of standard dimensions is successful from the very first inflation and with minimal sealant.
