The Addix Soft compound rubber blend rolls superbly and impresses with its excellent shock absorption. Schwalbe has dug deep into its tyre-making bag of tricks to optimally balance both characteristics. The result is a compound that’s incredibly fun to ride. And it’s significantly more durable than the previous TrailStar compound. It fully plays to its strengths of plenty of damping and rich grip, and thanks to its optimised cold-weather performance, it delivers all year round. The Addix Soft rubber compound is at home in the world of enduro and downhill, as well as in demanding all-mountain and trail riding. It also shines in combinations: for more speed, Soft at the front and Speedgrip at the rear; or for more damping, Ultra Soft at the front and Soft at the rear.

Almost as versatile as a multi-tool: a sturdy construction with a range of applications from intense all-mountain and trail riding right through to enduro use. Ideal for riders on bikes with medium travel. The construction is designed to combine moderate weight and reduced rolling resistance with high cornering traction and puncture resistance. It features a sturdy casing with two layers on the sidewall and three layers under the tread. In addition to Snake Skin puncture protection, the Super Trail casing offers Apex puncture protection and extra rim protection, ensuring excellent protection. The Evo casing, with extremely tightly woven threads at a steep angle, offers maximum riding comfort and minimal rolling resistance. The modern, sophisticated construction guarantees riders an optimal synthesis of protection, lightness and excellent riding characteristics.
