The P ZERO Race TLR RS is the latest addition to the P ZERO range of road racing tyres, manufactured in Italy. Developed in collaboration with professional athletes from the Pirelli World Tour Team to deliver outstanding speed and the best grip among the tyres we have developed. This achievement is made possible by the new SmartEVO compound, developed using the expertise and latest materials employed in motorsport, which enables further improvements in grip and handling on both dry and wet surfaces. In addition, the patented SpeedCORE structure has made the tyre even lighter. It comprises a thin, hermetic layer of a rubber compound enriched with aramid particles. The combination of these factors has made it possible to create a high-performance tyre that is even faster in competition, but also benefits those who wish to enjoy the same technology as the professionals.

Pirelli SmartEVO2 rubber compound:

The new SmartEVO compound represents the latest advancement in Pirelli’s high-performance road bike tyre compounds, enhanced by incorporating top-level motorsport expertise and the demands of modern World Tour racing. It evolves from the SmartEVO compound of three polymers with intelligent properties, utilising new materials and innovative mixing processes now made possible at our own manufacturing plant in Italy, located near Pirelli’s global R&D headquarters. This results in improved overall grip, particularly on wet surfaces, and reduced rolling resistance to record levels for its category, raising both performance and riding feel to the level demanded by the world’s fastest World Tour riders.

Pirelli Speedcore casing:

SpeedCORE is an innovative, patent-pending tubeless-ready construction from Pirelli for high-performance bicycle tyres and represents the most advanced TLR technology to date. The SpeedCORE construction consists of a thin, airtight layer of rubber compound enriched with aramid particles. This layer covers the inner part of the tyre and, thanks to the presence of aramid in the rubber compound, provides better mechanical resistance, improved air retention and greater overall flexibility: all of which contribute to the tyre’s overall performance.
