Schwalbe Pro One TLE tyre

The Schwalbe Pro One TLE combines suppleness, speed and control at the highest level. The best road bike tyre Schwalbe has ever developed. The Schwalbe Pro One features the Soupless Super Type casing and V Guard puncture protection. This is achieved through the intelligent technology in the new Schwalbe Pro One. Thanks to the Creating Souplesse casing, Schwalbe promises 13 per cent lower rolling resistance, 22 per cent more cornering grip and 30 per cent better puncture protection. Schwalbe Addix Race Compound:

The use of the new ADDIX Race Compound promises maximum speed and control – on the fastest mountain passes, at extreme lean angles, in all conditions. Schwalbe Pro One. Creating Souplesse. To achieve extremely low rolling resistance, a completely new compound has been developed: the Addix Race Compound. The new compound is based on special polymers that have only recently become available. The silica content has been significantly increased and is produced using a new mixing process. The tread and sidewalls feature distinct rubber compounds to achieve optimal rolling behaviour. This increases grip in corners without negatively affecting rolling resistance or durability.

Schwalbe V-Guard:

The insert is made from a specially developed high-tech polymer fibre, which is also used in bulletproof and stab-proof vests. It offers excellent protection against cuts and punctures whilst being extremely lightweight.

Schwalbe Tubeless Easy

TLE tyres are designed for tubeless fitting and thus offer by far the best performance. No chance of confusion: in the new Schwalbe Souplesse carcass construction, Tubeless Easy technology is integrated directly in the most advanced way. This makes the tyre incomparably supple and comfortable. The riding experience is akin to the silky-smooth feel of a classic tubular tyre. Naturally, the tyres can also be used with an inner tube.

Tubeless Easy compatibility.

You can fit Tubeless Easy tyres either on rims or wheelsets designed for tubeless tyres. Many new rims or wheelsets can be upgraded with tubeless rim tape. Please refer to the manufacturer’s instructions. In addition, a tyre sealant such as Schwalbe Doc Blue is required. Alternatively, Tubeless Easy tyres can also be fitted with an inner tube. Due to the denser and stronger carcass, the tyres are less prone to punctures.

The Tubeless Easy tyre is specially designed for tubeless use without an inner tube and thus offers by far the best performance. Schwalbe Pro One Tubeless Easy tyres must be used with Doc Blue sealant. At least 30 ml, preferably 60 ml per tyre. The sealant must be worked into the tyre immediately after fitting by riding for at least 25 km. If the instructions for initial fitting are not followed, the tyre’s seal cannot be guaranteed.
