Scope of delivery DT Swiss XM 1700 Spline wheel:
DT Swiss XM 1700 Spline 30 rear wheel, 12x148 mm Boost end caps, freehub body as selected, 32 mm tubeless rim tape, 32 mm tubeless valves
DT Swiss 1700 Spline hubs:
The DT Swiss straight-pull hub shells of the Spline wheelsets require minimal material, allowing them to be constructed to be lightweight yet stable. With the optimised hub body, specifically designed for extreme braking forces, and the reinforced flange, DT Swiss provides the perfect foundation for extremely stable all-mountain and enduro wheelsets.
DT Swiss Spline 1700 Boost rear hub:
The DT Swiss Spline Boost rear hubs feature a wider hub body with spoke lugs and flange positioned further outwards. This makes these wheels even more laterally stiff and durable. Due to the wider hub design with a 148x12 mm thru-axle mount, these hubs cannot be fitted to frames with an X12x142 mm mounting dimension and are only compatible with Boost 12x148 mm or Boost 10x141 mm rear ends / frames
DT Swiss XM 1700 Spline rims:
Built for all-mountain use, the DT Swiss XM 1700 offers excellent acceleration and high stability. The sturdy rims are butt-welded and require less material than the even sturdier EX 1700 rims. The rim profile is designed to be sturdy enough to satisfy the best enduro riders, whilst remaining lightweight. With a 30 mm rim width, tyres ranging from 2.0 to 2.6 inches in width can be fitted. Thanks to the wide rims, wide tyres roll significantly more easily and offer greatly improved cornering. The new rim spokes make the DT Swiss Spline rims ideally suited for upgrading with a tubeless kit.
DT Swiss Star Ratchet EXP System:
The proven DT Swiss Star Ratchet System, in the new EXP version with a toothed freewheel body, allows for easy conversion to various axle or rotor standards. The DT Swiss Ratchet Star EXP rear hubs can be easily converted to fit standard axle mounts. The new end caps offer an even more precise fit. Thanks to a larger bearing spacing, the EXP hubs are even more stable than their already excellent predecessor models.
DT Swiss Straight Pull Spokes:
To achieve an ideal balance between weight and stability, only the highest-quality straight-pull Competition spokes are used in Spline wheelsets. They are stiffer than conventional spokes yet can still be trued and replaced using standard tools. The straight-pull lacing allows for precise placement and alignment of the spokes. This optimises the wheel’s stiffness and eliminates any unwanted stress peaks.
