Mavic Crossride 29-inch wheelset

The Mavic Crossride FTS-X wheels are the entry-level option in the Mavic MTB system wheels range. Affordable, sturdy and durable, the Mavic Crossride wheels are the result of decades of experience in wheel manufacturing. The Crossride FTS-X wheels feature a completely new rim, which is wider and lighter to offer the rider greater comfort and control.

Mavic Crossride Disc rims:

Sturdy aluminium rims for use with disc brakes. Thanks to a 19 mm internal rim width, they are very sturdy and designed to accommodate tyres up to 2.3 inches wide.

Mavic Crossride hubs

High-quality hubs with FTS-X freehub and QRM bearings. The FTS-X steel freehub body (Force Transfer System X) is specially designed for the toughest MTB conditions. Reinforced pawls and a self-locking axle mount optimise the stability of the freehub. And a new type of lip seal reduces friction by half. Mavic QRM industrial bearings can withstand lateral loads and are also adjustable – this quality is unique to Mavic hubs. Thanks to double seals, they are extremely durable. The Crossride hubs are only available in the quick-release version

Mavic Crossride spokes

High-tensile steel spokes, secured against twisting using the Mavic Self-Lock System. The special shape of the spoke thread acts as an anti-twist mechanism. The spoke remains firmly screwed into the spoke nipple and loses no tension whatsoever. This ensures the wheel remains perfectly centred at all times.

You can optionally insure your Mavic Crossride wheels with Mavic MP3 insurance.

This covers all damage caused by falls, accidents, etc. Normal wear and tear is not covered by this insurance. The policy term is 2 years and the insurance can only be taken out at the time of purchasing the wheels. You can take out this insurance directly via the Mavic website. We will provide the necessary documents with the wheels.
