Mavic E Crossride 1 Application:

E-bikes, all-mountain, trail enduro. Suitable for use with disc brakes only. Approved by Mavic for riders and bikes up to 150 kg. These wheels can be used with genuine UST tyres, tubeless-ready tyres and standard tyre-inner tube combinations.

Torque Caps:

The wheel mount on many current RockShox suspension forks is designed for Torque Cups. These provide a significantly larger contact surface for the hubs, thereby increasing the stiffness of the suspension fork/wheel system. Torque Cups have a diameter of 31 mm, whereas standard cups are 22 mm.

Mavic E Crossride 1 rims:

The wide rims with a 30 mm rim width are made from high-strength Maxtal aluminium, making them lightweight and, thanks to their asymmetrical spoke pattern, very stiff laterally.

Developed specifically for use on e-bikes, these rims are particularly sturdy. The Crossride 1 rims are suitable for UST, tubeless tyres, tubeless-ready tyres and standard tyres with an additional inner tube.

Hookless Tubeless TSS:

Hookless Tubeless or Tubeless Straight Side (standard abbreviation TSS) describe the rim construction. Tubeless-compatible rims can be ridden without an inner tube, but a setup with an inner tube is also possible. Hookless or Straight Side describe the shape of the rim flange, which in this case is straight and designed without the classic hook. This construction offers advantages in terms of greater impact resistance for carbon rim flanges and allows tyre pressures of up to 5 bar.

Mavic Crossride 1 Spokes:

32 high-tensile J-bend steel spokes per wheel offer very high strength and durability.

Mavic Classic E-Bike Hub:

The new Classic hubs for e-bike use, featuring a high-flange design and 32 classic J-bend spokes. This guarantees maximum durability and lateral stiffness. The Instant Drive 360 freehub system is lightweight and ensures rapid power transfer with an engagement angle of just 9 degrees. A large, contact-free rubber seal reduces friction. A radial seal ensures low friction at high speeds and perfect water resistance. This freehub body is easy to convert and is available as an HG10 version for Shimano 8-11-speed / Sram 8-10-speed, Sram XD 11- and 12-speed, and Shimano 12-speed Micro Spline.
