DT Swiss HEC 1400 Spline DB 62 Disc Carbon wheelset

Super-sturdy, super-fast and yet lightweight: the HEC 1400 Spline wheelsets for e-bikes and standard endurance road bikes. The further reinforced version of the ERC 1400 wheelsets. The AERO+ rim, developed with the specialists at Swiss Side, paired with extra-sturdy spokes, the rear wheel featuring 28 spokes, and the tried-and-tested 240S hub. The lightweight 1894-gram Disc super-aero full-carbon endurance road wheelset, the DT Swiss Spline HEC 1400 Spline DB 62mm clincher with a 19mm rim width for tyres from 28–47mm wide. The completely newly developed HEC 1400 wheelset series offers maximum stability with low weight and outstanding aerodynamics. The HEC 1400 Spline carbon disc wheelset, featuring a 62 mm high-modulus full-carbon Swiss Side rim developed by DT Swiss, is designed for folding and clincher tyres, with extra-reinforced hybrid spokes and the proven high-strength Ratchet Star rear hub technology.

DT Swiss Straight Pull Hybrid Aero Comp spokes

To achieve an ideal balance between weight and stability, only the highest quality straight-pull spokes are used in SPLINE wheelsets. They are more stable than conventional spokes yet can still be trued and replaced using standard tools. The HEC wheelsets are built with spokes specially reinforced for hybrid wheels.

DT Swiss HEC 1400 Spline 62 Disc Clincher Rims

The 62 mm high Aero Plus rims with a 19 mm rim width are built for tough cyclocross and gravel use and offer outstanding aerodynamics. On the HEC 1400 Spline C, the rims are made from high-modulus carbon fibre using a new resin. The profile, developed by Swiss Side and inspired by aircraft construction, offers the best aerodynamics. The 1894-gramm lightweight wheelset, suitable for folding and clincher tyres, is completed by straight knife spokes.

DT Swiss Spline 1400 Disc Hybrid Hubs

The DT Swiss Spline Hybrid Road hubs, with their optimised hub shell and wider hub flanges, offer high lateral stiffness. Designed for straight-pull spokes and the proven ratchet pawl freewheel system, based on the DT Swiss high-end hubs with Swiss industrial stainless steel bearings, they are exceptionally durable and can be serviced and converted to Shimano, Sram, Campagnolo and Sram XDR freewheel bodies without tools.
