Shimano Ultegra WH-RS500-TL wheelset

Racing technology for everyday use: the 11-speed compatible WH-RS500-TL wheels. Classic road bike wheels at Ultegra level. Suitable for tubeless and clincher tyres.

The WH-RS500-TL features a tubeless rim construction developed by Shimano itself. This gives the wheels a smooth, quiet and comfortable ride. The use of tubeless tyres delivers phenomenal grip in corners. The wide hub flange combined with the asymmetrical rear rim ensures maximum stiffness and optimised power transfer. The black stainless steel spokes with tangential double-cross lacing or radial lacing optimise torsional stiffness. Furthermore, the WH-RS610-TL features Shimano tapered bearings and a wear indicator, enabling timely replacement of the rims.

Thanks to the Acceleration concept, ride stiffness is increased, ensuring an optimised acceleration feel – lower inertia with consistently high stiffness for optimal acceleration and speed.

The tubeless wheels, designed for tubeless tyres, can of course also be used with standard folding and clincher tyres.
