Avid Juicy disc brake pads

The Avid Juicy disc brake pads with aluminium backing dissipate heat more effectively than standard pads. The Avid Juicy disc brake pads in the Organic version are softer and provide greater braking power, but wear out faster than the metal pads. Compatible with Avid Juicy Five, Seven, Carbon and Ultimate disc brakes. These brake pads are not compatible with the Avid Code disc brake; these require the special Avid Code pads.

You can only ensure the Avid Juicy disc brakes function properly by using the original Avid disc brake pads. New to the range are the Organic brake pads for the Juicy disc brakes. These are slightly softer than the standard pads, offer significantly more bite, but wear out slightly faster. Special brake pads are required for the Avid Juicy Code DH Disc. These are larger than the standard Juicy pads and are not compatible with the Avid Juicy Ultimate, Carbon, Seven and Five brakes. The pads for the Juicy Code are also available in the Organic and the harder metal compound.
