The SwissStop Catalyst Pro brake disc ensures powerful braking and high durability with optimal heat dissipation

The Catalyst Pro is available in various sizes and is suitable for all applications, from road and cyclocross to cross-country and downhill. The two-piece construction, comprising an aluminium spider and a stainless steel friction ring, ensures an ideal balance between low weight, reliable heat management and rotor stiffness. The friction ring thickness is specifically optimised for each diameter. Three small holes on each side of the rotor indicate when the minimum thickness of 1.6 mm has been reached and the brake disc should be replaced.

On 1 January 2017, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) launched the second trial phase for disc brakes in road cycling. For this purpose, the brake discs must not have 90° edges on the outer side. The SwissStop Catalyst discs were approved for road racing due to their rounded edges on the outer side.
