The Shimano Flat Mount Type C mounting bolt is used to mount Shimano Flat Mount brake calipers to the rear triangle of the frame. A Type C2 mounting bolt must also be used. Depending on the brake disc diameter and the frame design, installation is carried out either directly on the chainstay or using a suitable Flat Mount adapter. The bolt length must be selected according to the frame thickness (10–35 mm).

Shimano also offers these bolts in different lengths to suit rear stays of varying thicknesses. You will need bolts that are 13 mm longer than the thickness of the rear stay.

• Length: 38 mm
• Thread: 5 mm
• Tool: – 4 mm Allen key
• Tightening torque: – 6–8 Nm
• Compatible with all Shimano Flat Mount brake calipers
