With the development of disc brakes for time trial bikes, TRP recognised the need for a high-performance hydraulic TT disc brake, resulting in the brand-new HD-T910. TRP took a unique approach to the time trial brake by combining speed and style, leading to the TT Hydro.
Originally, the lever was handcrafted from clay before being finished in aluminium. This allowed our designers to offer maximum ergonomics and an elegant visual appearance. It was then forged from an aluminium alloy, fitted with a replaceable rubberised grip and completed with a carbon lever blade.
The lever is paired with a black, flat-mount caliper, which enables controlled braking at any speed.
Flat Mount Standard:
The new Flat Mount caliper standard for road bike brakes reduces weight and offers a significantly sleeker look. With the Flat Mount standard, the rear brake caliper sits directly on the chainstay; no adapter is required for caliper mounting. The bolts pass through the chainstay from below directly into the brake caliper. A flat adapter is still required on the fork. The adapter is screwed onto the rear of the fork leg, with the brake sitting directly on the adapter.
