KMC X11 SL Chain

The lightest road bike chain for 11-speed drivetrains from KMC. Hollow chain pins and milled outer links, along with easy installation and cleaning using the reusable fastener included in the scope of delivery, are the hallmarks of this chain. In a complex process, the plates of the SL chains are milled out and riveted with hollow pins. This achieves a significant weight saving without compromising stability or service life. KMC chains feature a very slim design, known as ‘lean construction’. In addition to being lighter, this design ensures exceptionally smooth running and fewer instances of the chain jamming. The Double X-Durability treatment refers to a process in which all parts of the chain are specially hardened. This treatment makes the pins, in particular, highly resistant to dust and sand, thereby extending their service life enormously. KMC X11 chains perform excellently on Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo 11-speed systems. They are extremely lightweight, incredibly durable and very easy to fit with the MissingLink 11. The chain locks, Missing Links, on the 11-speed chains enable simple and secure fitting. A standard chain tool is required to cut the KMC chains to the correct length. The new 11-speed Missing Links are reusable.
