Shimano CN-M7100 Chain

The Shimano chain for the new 12-speed MTB and road bike groupsets in the 105/SLX versions. To ensure perfect shifting, the chain is directional; the inner chain links are specially shaped for fast and smooth shifting. The special asymmetrical outer and inner links optimise performance.

The chain is perfectly matched to Shimano 1- and 2-speed chainrings featuring Dynamic Chain Engagement+ (DCE+) and narrow-wide tooth profiles. This design ensures a tighter fit of the chain on the teeth, resulting in significantly smoother running and improved drivetrain efficiency.
