The new Shimano 11-speed Linkglide components, designed for use on e-bikes. All components in the Linkglide series – rear derailleur, shift levers, cassettes and chains – are specifically designed to meet the demands of e-bikes. These bikes generate significantly higher torque. Shimano Linkglide components are optimised for these loads.

Shimano CN-LG500 chain:

The Shimano Linkglide chain for the new 11-speed e-bike component series. Manufactured from a high-quality and particularly robust alloy, the Shimano 11-speed e-bike chain is also extremely durable. To ensure perfect shifting performance, the chain is directional; the inner chain plates are specially shaped for fast and smooth shifting. The special asymmetrical HG-X11 outer and inner links, combined with Shimano’s SIL-TEC surface coating, minimise friction, optimise performance and also reduce dirt build-up.

Shimano CN LG500 Chain Compatibility:

The new Shimano 11-speed Linkglide series is only compatible with the XT rear derailleur RD-M8130 and shift levers SL-M8130. The HG-LG500 cassette is recommended. Approved by Shimano for Linkglide and Hyperglide cassettes.
