Shimano Saint Brake Lever BL M820B:
Equipped with new Servo Wave technology for reduced free travel, the Saint BL M820B brake levers are I-Spec compatible; the Shimano Saint SLM 820, XT SLM780BI and XTR 970BI I-Spec shift levers can be fitted without an additional clamp.
Shimano I-Spec mounting:
The Saint BLM 820 B disc brake levers are suitable for direct mounting (I-Spec) with the SLM 820BI shift levers. This mounting system allows for space-saving installation of the shift levers directly onto the brake lever clamp. Shimano changed the I-Spec mount on the 2014 system to Type B. You can recognise this by the addition of the letter B to the lever designation. Older Shimano I-Spec shift levers can be combined with the new brake levers using the new I-Spec adapters: SM-SL98-B, SM-SL78-B and SM-SL82-B.
Shimano Saint BR M820 brake caliper:
The high-performance four-piston brake caliper with ceramic pistons and one-way bleeding delivers impressive braking performance. Thanks to the different response points of the four brake pistons, the new Saint brake can now be modulated wonderfully smoothly despite its extremely high maximum braking power. The new Ice Tec brake pads ensure even greater stability.
The Shimano Saint BRM 820 Disc is supplied with Post Mount 6 brake calipers.
You can select the correct adapter for your fork and disc size. For Post Mount 7 and 203 mm discs, we supply the appropriate Magura adapter for the brake, as Shimano does not currently offer a suitable adapter
