Sram Force 1 Disc Flat Mount Groupset

The Sram Force CX1 components, developed for cyclocross or high-quality single-speed bikes. The Sram CX1 groupset combines the best technologies from Sram’s revolutionary XX1 mountain bike and road bike ranges. The complete drivetrain, featuring a single chainring and eleven gears, is lighter, simpler and more robust. The Sram Force CX1 ensures optimised chain guidance and smooth shifting, regardless of conditions or terrain.

We also offer the Force 1 groupset with the XG 11-speed cassettes XG 1150 and XG 1180 as an option. These require the XD freehub body. These cassettes are not compatible with standard road bike HG 11 freehub bodies.

Sram Force 1 Type 3.0 X-Horizon rear derailleur:

The medium cage is required for cassette ranges up to 36 teeth, and the long cage derailleur is required for ranges from 10 to 42 teeth.

The rear derailleur for the Sram Force 1 groupset features Sram’s unique clutch system, which eliminates chain slack and ensures smoother, quieter and more secure chain guidance. With its horizontal parallelogram design and offset upper pulley, X-HORIZON technology ensures a constant chainline across all 11 gears, delivering fast, precise shifting. Roller Bearing Clutch technology reduces chain slap. SRAM Cage Lock technology makes wheel changes easier despite the rear derailleur’s high spring tension. Together with the Force CX1 shifter, the Force 1 X-Horizon rear derailleur forms the backbone of X-Actuation technology for incredibly smooth shifting performance.

Shifter: SRAM Force 1 Hydraulic Ergodynamic

The SRAM Force CX1 ErgoDynamic shift and brake levers feature a redesigned hydraulic master cylinder with a smaller, more ergonomic housing. The ErgoDynamic design: first-class control and comfort, new reach adjustment adaptable to all hand sizes, DoubleTap and ZeroLos for smooth and precise shifting.The individual Reach Adjus grip width adjustment for brake and shift levers is now even easier to access using a standard Allen key. The new clamp allows for a better fit and adjustment for modern carbon and ergonomic handlebars.

Sram Force Hydraulic Flat Mount Disc Brake

The disc brakes from the Force 1 series, designed for brake disc sizes up to 160 mm. The hydraulic Sram Force 22 disc brake offers optimum braking performance with minimal operating forces and the finest modulation. The loss of power and friction caused by cable transmission in classic cable-actuated brakes is eliminated with this system. Braking performance remains consistent in all weather conditions. Thanks to the separation of the rim/tyre and the braking surface, issues with heat build-up are elegantly resolved.

Flat Mount Standard:

The new Flat Mount caliper standard for road bike brakes reduces weight and offers a significantly sleeker look. With the Flat Mount standard, the rear brake caliper sits directly on the chainstay; no adapter is required for caliper mounting. The bolts pass through the chainstay from below directly into the brake caliper. A flat adapter is still required on the fork. The adapter is screwed onto the rear of the fork leg, and the brake sits directly on the adapter.

Sram Force 1 crankset:

The new Force CX1 crank arms are also based on the SRAM Force 22 models. Equipped with a spider for the CX1 chainring, the crank offers the perfect stiffness-to-weight ratio. Unidirectional carbon fibres in the crank arm and a spider made from forged aluminium ensure lightness and durability. SRAM’s X-SYNC chainring technology, with alternating wide and narrow tooth spacing, ensures maximum chain control, which is particularly crucial in cyclocross races.

We offer the SRAM BSA and BB86 or Wheels Outboard bottom brackets as optional extras for this groupset.

Sram Force 1 chainring

The chainring for Sram Force CX1 cranksets, featuring X-Sync technology. Sram’s X-Sync chainring technology, with alternating wide and narrow tooth spacing, ensures maximum chain control, which is particularly crucial in cyclocross races. Chain drop is prevented even without additional guides. The chainring mount width is 16 mm

SRAM Force PG 1170 Cassette:

In the optimised design of the Power Glide 1170 cassette, the three large sprockets are mounted on a weight-reducing spider, and the smaller sprockets are refined with shifting channels. This results in a cassette that is efficient and reliable in all situations. Perfectly matched to Force 22 derailleurs and chains, Force 22 cassettes also deliver top performance with other 11-speed drivetrains.

Sram XG 1150/1180 cassette:

We also offer the Force 1 groupset with the XG 11-speed cassettes XG 1150 and XG 1180. The XD freehub body is required for these.

The 11-speed SRAM XG cassette, with a range of 10–42 teeth, offers an incredible gear range whilst maintaining optimal spacing. In combination with the XD freehub, it connects perfectly to the wheel. The Full Pin cassette design, featuring 123 high-strength steel pins, reduces weight and offers excellent engagement. The open design is less prone to dirt, ensuring smoother shifting and longer durability.

Sram Force PC 1170 chain:

The SRAM Power Chain technology of the PC 1170 chain: Chain assembly with SRAM is secure, simple and reliable thanks to the new Power Lock. The Power Lock can be locked without tools. This special chain link guarantees reliable chain assembly. Due to its very narrow profile, the Power Lock can no longer be opened by hand alone.
