Shimano SLX Disc Brake M7120 I Spec EV
The Shimano SLX Disc M7120 disc brake with a 4-piston caliper for all-mountain and enduro use.
The Shimano SLX Disc M7100 disc brake. New I-Spec EV mount for 12-speed XT, SLX and XTR I-Spec EV shift levers, high braking power, excellent heat dissipation, easier bleeding, ergonomic brake lever design, high-strength SM-BH90-SBM disc brake hose
Shimano SLX M7100:
The affordable Shimano SLX 12-speed components, the simpler version featuring the technology of the XT and XTR series, designed for use ranging from cross-country to enduro. The SLX components designated 7100 are designed for 1x12 and 1x12-speed drivetrains. The new Deore SLX M7100 series boasts a host of technical highlights, including Shimano’s groundbreaking 12-speed Micro Spline cassettes, available with a range of 10-45 or 10-51 teeth, 1x12 or 2x12-speed Hollowtech II cranksets, powerful two- and four-piston brakes, I-Spec EV shift levers, 12-speed rear derailleurs and front derailleurs.
Shimano Deore SLX Brake Lever BL M7100:
The SLX BLM 7100 brake levers, featuring a 1.5-finger lever for ergonomic handling, are suitable for direct mounting and I-Spec EV shifters. The Shimano Deore SLX brake levers operate both caliper versions with a single model and feature Shimano’s Servo-Wave technology. Furthermore, the free travel has been reduced once again, resulting in an even more direct response. The brake levers follow the design of the XT and XTR brake levers and are also mounted at an angle rather than parallel to the handlebars, so that they are supported at a second point on the handlebars in addition to the clamp, making them significantly stiffer than before. For individual adjustment, the levers are equipped with a tool-free reach adjustment.
Shimano Deore SLX brake caliper BR M7120:
The SLX brake calipers always feature a Post Mount caliper and an adapter suited to the disc size and fork. The Deore SLX brakes are available both as XC-specific two-piston brakes and as four-piston brakes for trail/enduro. The four-piston version is a completely new development, whose design is based on its big sister from the XTR M9100 and XT M8100 series, with which it also shares the N03A brake pads (resin with cooling fins) and N04C brake pads (metal with cooling fins). It is also compatible with the D03S pads (resin without cooling fins) and D02S pads (metal without cooling fins).
Shimano I Spec EV:
The new I-Spec version of the Shimano XTR shifters and brakes offers a wide adjustment range – 14 mm laterally and 60 degrees of rotation – ensuring optimal shifting ergonomics. With the I-Spec EV version, the shifter can be mounted on XTR M9100/9120 brake levers in a space-saving manner. Furthermore, mounting via the new standard offers a 14-millimetre lateral adjustment range, and the shifter can also be rotated by 60 degrees. The new I-Spec EV version is not compatible with older brakes.
