Shimano XT FDM 781D front derailleur, 10 x 3-speed, direct mount, dual pull, colour: black
Shimano XT FD-M781D front derailleur
The Shimano XT D-Type front derailleur can only be fitted to frames with a direct mount mount.
The Shimano XT front derailleur for the new 10-speed Dyna-Sys 10-speed MTB series in the Down-Shift version for direct mounting on the frame; threads must be present. With smaller gear steps on the crankset and, optionally, a cassette with a 36-tooth sprocket as the largest cog. This enables Shimano to achieve a significantly smoother gear progression with exceptionally high performance.
The excellent shifting performance is typical of Shimano. The angled adjustment screws are easy to access. The cage has been redesigned and is now lighter than before. Additionally, the shape of the cage has been modified to increase tyre clearance. The widened parallelogram suppresses twisting thanks to the wider pivot base, resulting in faster shifting and a longer service life.
This derailleur also features the Dual Pull cable routing system, allowing for both top-pull and down-pull cable routing. Recommended for all full-suspension bikes with a low pivot point.
Shimano High Direct Mount Derailleur:
With the High Direct Mount, the derailleur is mounted directly onto frames designed for this purpose; the bolt spacing is 60 mm vertically. Thanks to the slotted holes, this derailleur can be adjusted for height.
