RockShox Reba Isolator 3-position:

Damping is one of the key qualities determining the ride feel of a suspension fork. It is responsible for how a suspension fork reacts to terrain and rider input, giving the bike control and predictability. Following the launch of our Charger 3 RC2 as a premium shock, the development team wanted to apply their new insights to a completely new shock. And that is the Isolator. The development goal for the Isolator was a performance-oriented, 3-position damper characterised by high initial sensitivity and a consistent ride feel throughout the entire travel – for suspension forks in the affordable price segment, for both mountain bikes and e-MTBs. We took on the challenge… and even far exceeded our own expectations. The Isolator differs from its competitors in that the rebound piston features a dual-flow oil path. What does dual-flow mean? The oil flows in both directions through the same piston: during compression, the oil flows downwards through the openings in the piston, and during rebound, it flows back upwards. This allowed the development team to design the rebound damping curve so that it feels exactly as they intended. Depending on where the rebound adjustment knob is positioned during rebound, the oil flows either through an oil flow path with less resistance or one with more resistance. When the rebound is open, the red needle (shaped like a golf tee) sits higher up, allowing more oil to flow through this easier path. On the other hand, when you close the rebound adjuster, the golf tee pushes down, blocking the oil flow along this path and forcing the oil through the heavier path, which runs over a shim stack. This builds up more pressure for firmer rebound damping. Pretty cool, isn’t it?

RockShox DebonAir+:

The DebonAir Plus system offers the perfect balance between butter-smooth response and support throughout the entire travel. Equipped with two new air chamber options, it allows you to adjust the negative and positive air volumes to find the perfect setup for every bike. The highly adjustable DebonAir Plus air spring offers the ride feel of a steel spring. The DebonAir Plus air chamber in RockShox Deluxe shocks features larger chambers; both the positive and negative chambers are now larger, enabling a softer response and up to 30 per cent lower breakaway torque. Generally, the spring rate curve becomes more linear with the DebonAir, and the rear wheel also generates more traction in the DebonAir version and responds even better to small bumps. Additionally, the size of the air chamber can be adjusted using tokens, thereby altering the response.

RockShox Bottomless Tokens:

By inserting the optionally available volume spacers, the air volume in the fork can be reduced, thereby influencing the suspension characteristics. A smoother response with higher end-stroke progression is achieved by using the volume spacers.

RockShox Maxle Stealth thru-axle:

The 15 mm thru-axle system offers greater stiffness with low weight, but is only compatible with wheelsets designed for this purpose. The new Stealth thru-axles can be fitted quickly and easily using a 6 mm Allen key.
