Tyre: Maxxis Assegai WT EXO TR 3C MaxxTerra

The tall knobs dig through loose sand and scree to find grip, but also hold securely on wet roots and rocks. The Assegai was developed to be fast in all conditions. 2.60WT wide tyres generally have a WT construction, but no WT marking on the tyre sidewall.

Maxxis WITE TRAIL CASING, WT

The Wide Trail construction optimises the tread pattern and tyre shape for today’s modern, wider rims. Traditional tyres are designed for narrow rims and take on an overly angular shape on wide rims, resulting in less than optimal performance. WT tyres are optimised for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but perform excellently on all rims with an inner width between 30 and 39 mm.

2.60WT-width tyres generally feature a WT construction, but do not have a WT marking on the tyre sidewall.

Maxxis 3C MAXX TERRA

The right 3C compound for enduro and freeride tyres. Smooth rolling uphill and excellent grip downhill characterise this compound, as does a long service life.

Maxxis Tubeless Ready, TR

Tubeless tyres offer many advantages: you can ride with lower air pressure. This provides better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And with no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for fitting with sealant than other Tubeless Ready tyres. The bead of TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a genuine UST tubeless tyre. This means that tubeless fitting on all rims of standard dimensions is successful from the very first inflation and with very little sealant.

Maxxis EXO Protection

This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tyres. It is very densely woven, lightweight and highly flexible. As a result, the tyres’ performance remains consistently impressive.
