Maxxis Hookworm Tyre

If low weight and absolute performance in terms of rolling resistance, smoothness and traction are important to you, then there is nothing better than the DTH 26x2.15. If you want extremely long life and greater volume for even more safety, then one of the 26x2.30 versions is just right, as they can handle a lot more with 2mm more tread depth.
MaxxPro rubber compound
impresses everyone who tests it: high traction combined with good rolling characteristics and a very long service life. The secret of MaxxPro is the 100 per cent perfect distribution of carbon black molecules in the rubber compound. The result is a smoother tyre surface that lasts significantly longer than traditional compounds. Further advantages: if the tread rubber is cut, the growth of the tear is prevented or minimised. The tyre rolls better because the rubber takes longer to return to its original shape after rolling over an obstacle – it offers greater shock absorption.
Maxxis clincher tyres
are manufactured to an exceptionally high standard. The 60 TPI carcass and rubber compound are identical to those used in folding tyres. Consequently, Maxxis clincher tyres are comparatively very light, weighing only around 30 g more than folding tyres.
