29-inch DT Swiss XM 481 rim

The lightweight 30 mm wide 29-inch All Mountain Trail and Enduro rim from DT Swiss, the XM 481 with a 30 mm rim width. Thanks to extensive FEM analyses, DT Swiss XM 481 rims feature material only where it is actually needed. These rims are supplied with special DT Squorx Pro Head nipples and must only be laced using these nipples. With the 30 mm wide XM 481 rim, DT Swiss offers a rim for stable and lightweight Enduro and All Mountain wheelsets. Cleanly finished, with a welded butt and stainless steel eyelets, the DT Swiss XM 401 offers the perfect balance between low weight and high stability. Recommended for a combined rider and bike weight of up to 120 kg.

DT Swiss Squorx Pro Head spoke nipples:

The DT Squorx Pro Head nipple combines ease of installation, light weight and optimal performance in a single product. The Torx head makes lacing flat spokes a breeze. The spherical contact surface ensures perfect alignment with the spoke, whilst the square section allows for easy re-centring using standard tools with the tyre fitted. With the XM 481 rims, these nipples are included in the scope of delivery, along with a washer that is fitted between the nipple and the rim bed. This ensures even pressure distribution and long-lasting durability

DT Swiss Tubeless Ready:

The DT Swiss XM 481 rims are equipped with rim flanges adapted for tubeless rim tape and can be easily upgraded to tubeless rims using DT Swiss tubeless rim tape
