The 27.5-inch freeride, enduro and trail wheelset featuring the new DT Swiss 350 Classic hubs and DT Swiss FR 541 rims with a 30 mm rim width. The new robust DT Swiss 350 Classic hubs with the Ratchet SL system are rated for a system weight of 140 kg yet remain lightweight
We offer the wheelsets with freehub bodies for Shimano HG, SRAM XD and Shimano Microspline cassettes. The hubs are available in all standard mounting widths, from quick-release to Super Boost thru-axle, Disc 6-bolt and Disc Centerlock. The Centerlock hubs are not available in all mounting sizes
Wheel building at TNC-Hamburg:
We hand-build these wheels exclusively for you. Thanks to over 30 years’ experience in wheel building, we extract the optimum in roundness, durability and stiffness from the materials. These wheels are, of course, tested multiple times; we also pre-load the spokes in both the radial and lateral directions. This eliminates the need for re-truing over a long period. We use DT Swiss spokes exclusively. These ensure outstanding durability of the wheelsets. For enduro use, we recommend brass nipples.

Hubs: DT Swiss 350 Disc 6-hole
With the 350 hubs, DT Swiss offers affordable, high-quality hubs. From road bike to downhill versions, the 350 hub range is designed for maximum durability. Equipped with high-quality seals and bearings, they are the ideal choice if you are looking for hubs for durable, low-maintenance wheelsets. The DT 350 rear hubs are also fitted with DT’s patented Ratchet Star freehub system. Two toothed discs mesh together to guarantee loss-free power transmission. Thanks to the raised hub flanges, the DT Swiss 350 hubs provide wheelsets with excellent lateral stiffness and durability.
DT Competition spokes:
The double cold-forged spoke made from rust-resistant 18/10 chrome-nickel steel with a tapered middle section for robust, lightweight wheels. We recommend these spokes for virtually all wheels. Extremely durable and sufficiently lightweight, DT Competition spokes enable wheel building of the highest standard. Thanks to the tapered middle section, the spokes absorb movements in the wheel exceptionally well, without compromising on lateral stiffness or durability. Weight with nipple approx. 7 grams
DT FR 541 rim
The FR 541 may not be your first rim, but it could well be your last. The new rim shape improves impact resistance and allows you to tackle the trails even harder. It also enhances puncture protection for a reliable ride on rough terrain. Carefully built, it will reward you with resilience and lightness – for a lasting bond. Tests with a leading tyre manufacturer have shown a 17 per cent higher puncture resistance compared to the previous FR 560 rim.
DT Competition spokes:

DT Swiss Aero Comp spokes:
Designed for stable, laterally stiff yet aerodynamic wheelsets, the DT Swiss Aero Comp spoke is first cold-forged in the middle section to make it lighter and stronger. In a further complex process, it is flat-forged to optimise aerodynamic properties whilst increasing material strength. The DT Aero Comp guarantees a balanced combination of stiffness, aerodynamics and durability.
DT Swiss Aero Lite spokes:
The DT Swiss Aerolite spoke is flatter and lighter than any other; the DT Swiss Aerolite spoke features an aerodynamic flat profile and is extremely lightweight. Thanks to the 0.9 x 2.3 mm aerodynamic mid-section, this spoke can be fitted to all standard hubs. The Cold Forging Technology (CFT) developed by DT Swiss makes the reduced and forged DT Aerolite the lightest stainless steel spoke and gives it excellent mechanical properties. Particularly suitable for super-light and fast road or cross-country wheelsets. 64 DT Aerolite spokes weigh an incredible 278 g at a length of 264 mm. Weight per spoke at a length of 264 mm: 4.31 grams
DT Squorx spoke nipples:
The DT Swiss Squorx Pro Head nipple combines ease of installation with light weight thanks to the DT Pro Head shape, combined with an additional Torx and square tool socket. The Torx socket provides a larger contact area during wheel building, ensuring that the force from the tool is better distributed across the nipple. The spherical contact area within the rim guarantees perfect alignment with the spoke.
