Wind, mud or rain: the CRC 1400 Spline wheels are ready for all conditions. The aerodynamically optimised rim provides support at high speeds on descents as well as in the final sprint, no matter how strong the wind blows.

The CRC wheels from DT Swiss, built for cyclocross and gravel use, are exceptionally sturdy. Equipped with the new EXP hubs from the 240 series and a new aerodynamic rim profile, the lightweight 1466-gramme full-carbon disc Cross Road wheelset DT Swiss Spline CRC 1400 Spline 45 features a 22 mm rim width for tyres ranging from 28–47 mm in width. The completely newly developed CRC 1400 wheelset series offers minimal weight, outstanding aerodynamics and very high lateral stiffness. The CRC 1400 Spline carbon disc wheels feature a 45 mm high-end full-carbon rim from DT Swiss for folding and clincher tyres, with straight spoke lacing and the proven, lightweight Ratchet EXP rear hub technology.

DT Swiss Straight Pull Spokes

To achieve an ideal balance between weight and stability, SPLINE wheelsets use Aero Lite and Arö Comp straight-pull spokes. They are stiffer than conventional spokes yet can still be trued and replaced using standard tools.

Developed for maximum performance and aerodynamics. The 45 mm high Aro+ rims with a 22 mm rim width are built for tough cyclocross and gravel use, and the Aero+ design offers excellent acceleration and off-road handling. In the CRC 1400 Spline, the rims are laminated from carbon fibres using a new resin. The NCAC profile, derived from aircraft construction, offers optimum aerodynamics. DT Swiss Spline 240 EXP Disc Hubs

The DT Swiss Spline hubs are based on the high-end 240 EXP hub series; with an optimised hub shell and wider hub flanges, they offer greater lateral stiffness. Designed for straight-pull spokes and the Ratchet EXP freehub system, based on the DT Swiss high-end hubs with Swiss industrial stainless steel bearings, they are exceptionally durable and can be serviced and converted to Shimano, Sram, Campagnolo and Sram XD freehub bodies without tools.
