Mavic Ksyrium S UST wheels
The classic and sturdy aluminium wheels for use on road and endurance bikes with rim brakes: the Mavic Ksyrium S UST wheels with Instand 360 freehub system, 22 mm width and 430-gram lightweight, non-drilled UST rims with a 19 mm rim width for tyres from 25–35 mm. The new UST Force rims are particularly sturdy thanks to the non-drilled rim bed, despite their low weight.

Mavic Ksyrium S UST Force rims:
The new Ksyrium S rims are genuine UST rims with a sealed rim bed. For the Force spoke nipples, the thread is milled into the rim, leaving the rim bed untouched. This makes the rim significantly more resistant to fatigue and approximately 20 per cent stiffer. A tubeless rim tape is not required. The Maxtal aluminium alloy, manufactured exclusively for Mavic, is 30 per cent stronger than 6106 aluminium. This allows Maxtal rims to be super-light yet still sturdy. Mavic’s ISM4 weight-optimisation saves every gram on the rims for reduced inertia; the rims weigh just 440 grams. Naturally with a welded rim joint
Mavic QRM auto hubs:
The QRM auto hubs are fitted with a larger 17 mm axle diameter and larger bearings. This increases the torsional stiffness of the axles by approximately 35 per cent. The tried-and-tested Mavic QRM auto industrial bearings are used. Equipped with the Instant Drive sprocket freehub body, the ORM Auto axle system and self-aligning bearings, this ensures maintenance-free operation over a long period.
Mavic Instant Drive 360 freehub body
The Instant Drive 360 freehub system is super-light and ensures rapid engagement with a contact angle of just 9 degrees. A large, non-contact rubber seal reduces friction. And a wide selection of axle stubs ensures compatibility with many installation standards. The oversized aluminium axle and the hardened aluminium freehub body save 40 g. Two sprockets ensure fast and loss-free power transfer. A radial seal guarantees low friction at high speeds and perfect water resistance. This freehub body is easy to convert and is available as an HG11 version for Shimano and SRAM 8–11-speed, SRAM XDR 12-speed road bike and Campagnolo 9–12-speed ED cassettes. A rubber damper is fitted as standard, which can be removed. For those who prefer a slightly more distinctive sound.
Mavic Aero spokes:
The patented elliptical spoke shape significantly improves aerodynamics, featuring the tried-and-tested double-butted Aero spokes. Highly strong and resilient, the durability of Mavic stainless steel spokes is exceptionally high.
Mavic Tubeless System:
The new rim bed makes fitting tubeless tyres easier. The pronounced and wider grooves in the rim bed significantly simplify tubeless fitting. Mavic is thus setting the standard for easy tubeless fitting. The fitting process is no different from that of standard folding tyres. This allows the advantages of tubeless tyres – lower rolling resistance, greater riding comfort and reduced risk of punctures – to come into their own.
Of course, Mavic UST wheels can also be used with standard folding and clincher tyres and inner tubes without any issues. When out and about, we recommend carrying a standard inner tube as a quick puncture repair solution.
