DT Swiss 350 Straightpull plus RR 511 wheelset
A high-quality, affordable wheelset for road bikes with rim brakes. Aerodynamic and stable at around 1900 grams, suitable for tyres between 19 and 35 mm wide. The DT Swiss Straightpull hubs in the 350 series are only available with 24 holes on the front wheel and 28 holes on the rear wheel.
We offer the wheelsets with freehub bodies for Shimano or Campagnolo cassettes. The DT Swiss 350 is designed for classic quick-release mounting.
Wheel building at TNC-Hamburg:
We manufacture these wheels entirely by hand for you. Thanks to more than 30 years’ experience in wheel building, we extract the optimum in truing, durability and stiffness from the material. These wheels are, of course, trued multiple times, and we also pre-tension the spokes in the longitudinal direction. This eliminates the need for re-truing over a long period of time.
These wheels are made specifically for you, which is why we cannot offer a right of return for them. These wheels are not eligible for a discount
Please feel free to enquire about other wheel set configurations. We will then provide you with a quote.
DT Swiss 350 Straightpull Hubs
With the 350 hubs, DT Swiss offers affordable, high-quality hubs. From road bike to downhill versions, the 350 hub range is designed for maximum durability. Fitted with high-quality seals and bearings, this is the choice for you if you are looking for hubs for durable, low-maintenance wheelsets. The DT 350 rear hubs are also fitted with DT’s patented freehub body system. Two sprockets mesh together to guarantee loss-free power transmission.
DT Swiss RR 511 UB rim
The high-end RR 511 road and cyclocross rim from DT Swiss for aerodynamic wheelsets. Very stable thanks to a high-strength aluminium alloy and a 21.5 mm rim width. Cleanly finished, with a welded joint, CNC-machined sidewalls and a 32 mm deep rim, the DT Swiss RR 511 is the ideal rim for building lightweight and aerodynamic wheelsets. Thanks to its high profile, the DT Swiss RR 511 rims are sturdy enough to build a stable and durable wheelset even with a low spoke count.
DT Competition spokes:
The double cold-forged spoke made from rust-resistant 18/10 chrome-nickel steel with a tapered middle section for robust, lightweight wheelsets. We recommend these spokes for virtually all wheelsets. Extremely durable and sufficiently lightweight, the DT Competition spokes enable wheel building at the highest level. Thanks to the taper in the middle section, the spokes absorb movements in the wheel exceptionally well, without compromising on lateral stiffness or long-term durability. Weight with nipple approx. 7 grams
DT Competition Race spokes:
Just as versatile as the bent version of the DT Competition spoke, but in a straight design. They are optimally matched to the new straight-pull hubs and offer even greater durability compared to the conventional DT Competition spoke. Thanks to the extra-thin middle section, they save a further 70 g per wheel compared to the already lightweight DT Competition, whilst offering almost the same stiffness and durability.
DT Swiss Aero Comp spokes:
Designed for stable, laterally stiff yet aerodynamic wheelsets, the DT Swiss Aero Comp spoke in the straight-pull version is first cold-forged in the middle section, making it lighter and stronger. In a further complex process, it is flat-forged to optimise aerodynamic properties whilst simultaneously increasing material strength. The DT Aero Comp guarantees a balanced combination of stiffness, aerodynamics and durability.
DT Swiss Aero Lite spokes:
The DT Swiss Aerolite spoke is flatter and lighter than any other; the DT Swiss Aerolite spoke features an aerodynamic flat profile and is extremely lightweight. Thanks to the 0.9 x 2.3 mm aerodynamic mid-section, this spoke can be fitted to all standard hubs. The Cold Forging Technology (CFT) developed by DT Swiss makes the reduced and forged DT Aerolite the lightest stainless steel spoke and gives it excellent mechanical properties. Particularly suitable for super-light and fast road or cross-country wheelsets. 64 DT Aerolite spokes weigh an incredible 278 g at a length of 264 mm. Weight per spoke at 264 mm length: 4.31 grams
