Shimano Ultegra Centerlock brake disc RT CL800 I, Ice Tech Freeza, 140mm diameter, including lockring, internal mounting
Shimano RT CL800 Centerlock brake disc
The new Shimano Ultegra RT-CL800 Ice Tech Centerlock brake discs with additional cooling fins for even better cooling.
Smoother control on any terrain. Quieter than ever before, yet with first-class and reliable braking performance on all long, steep descents thanks to excellent heat dissipation. When developing the new brake disc, the aim was to prevent heat-induced warping. The result is incredibly quiet braking performance without compromising on weight or heat dissipation.

Shimano Ice Technologies:
combined with the FREEZA brake disc construction, ensures rapid heat dissipation. This results in more consistent braking performance under extreme conditions, extends the service life of the brake pads and reduces loss of braking power and brake noise. The aluminium core is encased by the steel braking surface. This reduces heat build-up by a good 25 per cent and increases the stability of Shimano MTB disc brakes. The redesigned Ice Tech Freeza brake discs at Deore, GRX and Ultegra levels, RT-CL800, have been engineered to ensure maximum heat dissipation, resulting in more consistent braking performance and longer pad life.
