SwissStop RS disc pads offer powerful and consistent braking performance. The RS disc pads deliver strong braking performance and offer a balanced combination of features that are important for both racing cyclists and everyday riders. The RS pads are extremely quiet in all conditions. The compound is silent in wet, dry, snowy and icy conditions. The carrier plate, made from a steel alloy and just 1.6 mm thick, saves weight compared to traditional designs – yet retains the beneficial thermal properties as well as the strength and stability of steel. The thinner carrier plate is fitted with an additional layer of pad compound, thereby extending the service life of the disc pad.
