IMPORTANT: The brake pads must be bedded in to achieve optimum braking power and durability
Step 1: On a moderately steep descent, apply the front and rear brakes alternately for 20–30 seconds. Repeat
this process 2–3 times.
Step 2: On a steeper descent, let both brakes drag alternately for 10–15 seconds each, stopping the bike almost completely. Repeat
this process 2–3 times.
Pro tip: Break in the rear brake pads on the front wheel. Follow the procedure described above. Then fit the pads to the rear. On a flat surface, let them run briefly 2–3 times. Caution: Before replacing the pads, ensure they have cooled down sufficiently: risk of burns!
