Shimano Di2 Dura Ace R9150 Upgrade Kit
The retrofit kit for the Dura Ace Di2 R9150 components featuring the internal Junction Port A EW-RS910 and optional Bluetooth interface. The 11x2-speed drivetrain of the new Dura Ace generation in its electronic version is now also compatible with cassettes up to 30 teeth. Optionally available with Bluetooth and ANT+ wireless interfaces.
Shimano Dura Ace Di2 R9150:
For the new Dura Ace R9150 Di2 series, Shimano has redesigned every single component of the system. Thanks to a newly developed wireless interface, programming can be carried out on devices with a Bluetooth interface; for this, the Bluetooth wireless unit EW-WU111 or EW-WU101 is always required.
Shimano Dura Ace Di2 RD R9150 rear derailleur:
The Dura Ace RD R9150 rear derailleur features the Syncro Shift function, which can be programmed via the Bluetooth interface, allowing the rear derailleur and front derailleur to be operated with a single lever. The system then automatically selects the front derailleur function to shift into the next gear. Precise, lightning-fast gear changes at the touch of a button, in any situation.
Shimano Dura Ace Di2 FD 9150 front derailleur:
The electronic Shimano Di2 front derailleur is packed with computer technology. A small processing chip constantly monitors the position of the two shifting components and continuously adjusts them whilst riding, ensuring the chain never rubs. The shift from the large to the small chainring is performed in two steps to prevent the chain from coming off. The shifting speed is extremely high
Shimano STI shift-brake levers Dura Ace Di2 ST-R9150
The new Dura Ace Di2 STI levers ST R9150 offer optimum ergonomics thanks to their adjustable grip width. The Dura Ace Di2 shift-brake levers are fitted with carbon brake levers. Shifting taken to a new level. Extremely fast and precise. Thanks to electronic transmission of shift commands, these are executed without delay. Operation is similar to that of mechanical STI levers; shifting is done at the touch of a button. The new 11-speed shift levers are also equipped with the programmable Multishift function
Shimano Di2 Junction Port A EW-RS910
This new Cockpit Junction 2-port distribution box with two cable connections is fitted into the end of the road bike handlebars and serves as a charging socket and Junction Port A. This enables a visually clean routing of the Di2 cables. Some manufacturers also offer frames with a mount for this port
The Di2 Cockpit Junction Port A accommodates the supply cables and the cable from a shift lever, and routes the signals to Junction Port B. The right or left shift lever is connected to this port. In addition, the Di2 Y-cable EW-JC130 is required to connect the second shift lever and route the signals to Junction Box B. Sjhioman recommends the EW-WU111 wireless unit as a connection to the cable leading to Port B. Alternatively, the EWJC200 connector can also be used for this purpose. The gear shifting can also be fine-tuned via the Junction Port. At the same time, the EW-RS910 port serves as a position socket and battery indicator.
A handlebar model with internal cable routing is required, or the handlebar end must be drilled to route the cables externally beneath the handlebar tape.
On frames with a mount for the EW-RS910 junction port, this is then routed behind the EW-RS910 wireless unit or the EWJC200 connector
Shimano Di2 Junction Port B SM JC40/41:
The cable connection for internal cable routing for the Shimano Di2 groupset. This junction box is used to connect the power cables from the rear derailleur, front derailleur, STI shift-brake levers and battery. Available for mounting in the frame or under the bottom bracket. Due to the low weight of the SM-JC41 (just 4g), a frame mount for the junction box is not strictly necessary.
Shimano Di2 Wireless Bluetooth, ANT+:
To use the Shimano Di2 wireless function, the new BT-DN110 battery and the EW-WU111 or EW-WU101 Bluetooth module are required. Programming can then be carried out via a Bluetooth device. At the same time, the wireless interface offers ANT+ transmission for displaying data such as gear selection on bike computers equipped with the ANT+ interface. The wireless interface is connected into the standard wiring. An additional short cable is required for this.
Shimano Di2 cabling with EWRS910:
We offer the internal Dura-Ace Di2 groupset with cable lengths suitable for frames up to 60 cm in size. As the cables can be slightly longer when routed internally, these cable lengths are also suitable for smaller frames. The standard scope of delivery includes the EWC130 Y-cable, 5 EWSD50 E-Tube connection cables and the EWJC200 connector.
- 1 x Y-cable EW-JC130, 55/55/5, for connecting a shift lever to the Cockpit Junction A port
- 1 x 25 cm for connecting the cockpit junction A to the second shift lever
- 1 x 100 cm to connect the cockpit junction A to the junction B port
- 1 x 35 cm to connect the front derailleur to the Junction B port
- 1 x 65 cm to connect the rear derailleur to the Junction B port
- 1 x 75 cm to connect the battery to the Junction B port

Shimano Di2 installation:
Installing Shimano Di2 components is almost easier than fitting traditional derailleurs. The standardised cable connections and the junction box ensure straightforward and quick installation. The shift levers are connected to Junction Port A on the distribution box; a cable runs from Junction Port A to Junction Port B on the distribution box, and from there the cables are routed to the rear derailleur, front derailleur and battery. The battery can be mounted externally on the bottle cage or internally in the seat tube or down tube. Frames specifically designed for this purpose are required for internal cable routing.
