Shimano Di2 Dura Ace R9150 TT Upgrade Kit

This kit comprises Dura Ace Di2 R9150 / R9160 time trial and aero components for internal cable routing with an internal battery. The 11x2-speed drivetrain of the new Dura Ace generation in its electronic version is now also compatible with cassettes up to 30 teeth. Optionally available with Bluetooth and ANT+ wireless interfaces.

Shimano Dura Ace Di2 R9150:

For the new Dura Ace R9150 Di2 series, Shimano has redesigned every single component of the system. Thanks to a newly developed wireless interface, programming can be carried out on devices with a Bluetooth interface; for this, the Bluetooth wireless unit EW-WU111 or EW-WU101 is always required.

Shimano Dura Ace Di2 RD R9150 rear derailleur:

The Dura Ace RD R9150 rear derailleur features the Syncro Shift function, which can be programmed via the Bluetooth interface, allowing the rear derailleur and front derailleur to be operated with a single lever. The system then automatically selects the front derailleur function to shift into the next gear. Precise, lightning-fast gear changes at the touch of a button, in any situation.

Shimano Dura Ace Di2 FD 9070 front derailleur:

The electronic Shimano Di2 front derailleur is packed with computer technology. A small processing chip constantly monitors the position of the two shifting components and continuously adjusts them whilst riding, ensuring the chain never rubs. The shift from the large to the small chainring is performed in two steps to prevent the chain from jumping off. The shifting speed is extremely high

Shimano STR9160 shift-brake levers:

The brake levers are made of carbon and the mechanical shifting components have been eliminated, resulting in significant weight savings with the ST-9160 shift-brake levers. Equipped with the programmable Syncro Shift function, the shift levers can be programmed entirely to your personal preferences. You can programme the Di2 shifting system with the Syncro Shift function so that the derailleur shifts automatically. Then, using the ST-9160 shift levers, you operate the rear derailleur – shifting up on the right and down on the left, or vice versa – and the front derailleur automatically shifts to the large or small chainring. You shift, and the Di2 electronics take care of the rest

Optional TT shift lever Shimano Di2 SW R9160

The electronic Shimano time trial shift lever for the Di2 system. The Di2 shift levers SW-RW9160 are mounted on the handlebar ends of the time trial extensions. Optionally, the second shifter SW-R9150 can also be fitted, allowing the rear gears to be changed quickly and without re-gripping in any riding situation. The SW-R9160 Di2 shifters with their two-button design offer the ability to operate the front derailleur and rear derailleur in the aero position

Shimano Di2 Cockpit Junction Port A SM EW90A/B:

The junction unit features a battery indicator and a rear derailleur adjustment function. The Di2 Cockpit Junction Port A accommodates the cables from the shift levers and bundles them into a single cable leading to the battery. The right and left shift levers are connected to this port. In addition, EW-SD50 cables are required to connect the battery, rear derailleur and front derailleur. The Junction Port A is available in two versions, with 3 and 5 connection points. The 5-port version allows for the installation of additional shift levers, such as bar-end shifters. Furthermore, the 5-port version also features the ANT+ interface for operating the SC-R770 computer and other ANT+ devices.

Shimano Di2 Junction Port B SM JC40/41:

The cable connection for internal cable routing for the Shimano Di2 groupset. This junction box is used to connect the power cables from the rear derailleur, front derailleur, STI shift-brake levers and battery. Available for mounting in the frame or under the bottom bracket. Due to the SM-JC41’s low weight of just 4g, a frame mount for the junction box is not strictly necessary.

Shimano Di2 Wireless Bluetooth, ANT+:

To use the Shimano Di2 wireless function, the new BT-DN110 battery and the EW-WU111 or EW-WU101 Bluetooth module are required. Programming can then be carried out via a Bluetooth device. At the same time, the wireless interface offers ANT+ transmission for displaying data such as gear selection on bike computers equipped with the ANT+ interface. The wireless interface is connected into the standard wiring. An additional short cable is required for this.

Shimano Di2 cabling:

We offer the internal Dura Ace Di2 groupset with cable lengths suitable for frames up to 60 cm in size. As the cables can be slightly longer when routed internally, these cable lengths are also suitable for smaller frames. The standard delivery includes 6 E-Tube EWSD50 connection cables.

• 2 x 35 cm, for connecting the shift levers to Cockpit Junction A port
• 1 x 100 cm to connect the cockpit junction A to the junction B port
• 1 x 300 cm to connect the front derailleur to the Junction B port
• 1 x 600 cm to connect the rear derailleur to the Junction B port
• 1 x 750 cm to connect the battery to the Junction B port
• Optional: a short cable for the wireless interface

Shimano Di2 installation:

Installing Shimano Di2 components is almost easier than fitting traditional derailleurs. The standardised cable connections and the junction box ensure straightforward and quick installation. The shift levers are connected to Junction Port A on the distribution box; a cable runs from Junction Port A to Junction Port B on the distribution box, and from there the cables are routed to the rear derailleur, front derailleur and battery. The battery can be mounted externally on the bottle cage or internally in the seat tube or down tube. Frames specifically designed for internal cable routing are required.
