Tyre: Maxxis Ardent Exo Dual Tanwall

An aggressive tread pattern on a high-volume carcass, designed for good traction but fast enough for racers. Large block-shaped shoulder lugs bite into fast corners with their numerous edges. The centre of the tread features bevelled lugs to minimise rolling resistance. With its wide range of models, the Ardent meets all requirements for a fast tyre, from touring through All Mountain and Enduro to freeriding.

Maxxis Dual rubber compound

Two different rubber compounds are processed into a single tread strip. We plan the arrangement of the compounds according to the desired characteristics of the tyre.

EXO Protection

This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tyres. It is very densely woven, lightweight and highly flexible. As a result, the tyres’ performance remains consistently impressive.

Tubeless Ready, TLR

Tubeless tyres offer many advantages: you can ride with lower air pressure. This provides better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And with no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. MAXXIS TLR tyres are better prepared for fitting with sealant than other Tubeless Ready tyres. The bead of the TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like on a genuine UST tubeless tyre. This ensures that tubeless fitting on all rims with standard dimensions is successful from the very first inflation and with minimal sealant.
