Classified Powershift:

To complete the wheelset, you will need:

• Classified Powershift hub gear CD 27 cassette mount
• Classified Powershift cassette
• Classified Powershift Smart Thru-Axle
• Classified Powershift Torque Support Arm

Classified Powershift assembly:

Once the gearbox has been fitted into the hub body and the desired cassette is in place, the torque support is fitted to the hub and the thru-axle. Classified offers a range of torque supports and thru-axles to suit different frames. Spacers can be used to adjust the thru-axle to fit the frame. There are various models of torque support to choose from. The version for Post Mount frames also fits frames with Flatmount brake mounts and is our recommendation.

Classified offers its own shift levers to complement the Powershift hub. Shimano Di2 integration and shifting using Shimano Di2 shift levers is also possible. Using the Classified app and Shimano E-Tube apps, the Powershift hub can also be operated with Shimano 11- and 12-speed Di2 wireless shift levers.

Integration works with Shimano Di2 12-speed groupsets and 11-speed Di2 groupsets, provided that an additional Shimano D-Fly wireless unit (EW-WU111B) is installed for the 11-speed setup. This makes the Powershift hub compatible with a wide range of electronic Shimano road and gravel drivetrains.

DT Swiss GRC 500 Spline Disc 50 mm Classified:

The gravel wheelsets, featuring 50 mm high aero rims developed in collaboration with the specialists at Swiss Side, are paired with high-strength Aero Comp straight-pull spokes, the proven 240 front hub and the rear wheel with the Classified Powershift System.

The Classified Powershift system revolutionises the drivetrain: maintenance-free, dirt-resistant and unrivalled in efficiency! The Powershift hub with two gears (ratio 1:1 & 0.7:1) replaces the derailleur and shifts wirelessly whilst stationary or rolling in under 150 ms – even under loads of up to 1500 watts!

DT Swiss Straight Pull Spokes

To achieve an ideal balance between weight and stability, only the highest-quality straight-pull spokes are used in SPLINE wheelsets. They are more stable than conventional spokes yet can still be trued and replaced using standard tools.

DT Swiss GRC 500 Spline 50 Disc Clincher Rims

The rims, with a 24 mm rim width, are built for tough cyclocross and gravel use and also offer good aerodynamics. The GRC 500 Spline rims are made from high-modulus carbon fibre using a new resin. The profile, developed by Swiss Side and inspired by aircraft construction, offers excellent aerodynamics and matches the rims of the GRC 1400 series.

Hooked / Crotchet tubeless TC:

‘Hooked’ or ‘Crochet’ refers to the shape of the rim flange, which features a so-called hook. This aids in securing the tyre bead and ensures reliable performance, even when using high tyre pressure (> 5 bar). ‘Tubeless’ means that the rim can be ridden without an inner tube, although a setup with an inner tube is also possible.

DT Swiss Spline Disc Hubs

The DT Swiss Spline hubs, with their optimised hub body and wide hub flanges, offer greater lateral stiffness. Designed for straight-pull spokes and based on the DT Swiss High End 240 front disc hubs with Swiss industrial stainless steel bearings, they are extremely durable and can be serviced and converted without tools.
