On your way to new summits, when oxygen is running low, the new ARC 1100 SPLINE 38 CS wheels with carbon spokes are your best ally. The carbon composition of the spokes and the rims featuring PURE carbon technology save crucial grams and support you on the climb. Fitted with the AERO 111 tyre at the front for an optimal wheel-tyre system, they ensure speed and safety, both on fast climbs and descents. Weighing under 1200 g, these wheels are your lightest way up, yet they are built to tackle the toughest climbs.

DT Swiss Sinc Ceramic Bearings:

the high-end ceramic bearings from DT Swiss, specially optimised for DT Swiss hubs, offer maximum smoothness and minimal weight. In a special manufacturing process, the balls are rolled until their surface exhibits perfect roundness. Whilst the surface of conventional ceramic balls is not 100 per cent smooth, SINC Ceramic balls are extremely smooth and, thanks to their perfect roundness, achieve extremely low rolling resistance. By combining these ceramic balls with high-quality steel bearing cups, the bearings can deliver their full potential.

Vonova Aero Carbon T-head spokes:

Spokes have been at the heart of DT Swiss from day one – the inclusion of the first wheelsets with carbon spokes in the portfolio is a significant milestone. With the ARC 1100 SPLINE 38 CS, you can rely on the same meticulous, handcrafted quality from DT Swiss wheel builders, with the added benefits of weight savings and improved stiffness. The 180 straight-pull hub has been specially developed for carbon spokes, featuring refined flanges and a new spoke pattern that allows for a minimum of 18 spokes on the front wheel.

DT Swiss ARC 1100 rims:

The 38 mm-high rim is manufactured in-house using DT Swiss PURE carbon technology. This reduces weight, helping you climb faster. The aerodynamically optimised profile propels you comfortably up gentle gradients.

DT Swiss offers what is arguably the fastest tyre system for climbing. The wheelsets are fitted with DT Swiss WTS technology: the AERO 111 26 mm at the front and the Continental GP 5000 STR 28 mm at the rear. This ensures the wheelsets offer an optimal combination of speed and grip for fast climbs and confident descents. The development of the wheel-tyre system follows the DT Swiss AERO+ concept as a symbiosis of aerodynamics, handling and efficiency. Hooked / Crotchet tubeless TC:

‘Hooked’ or ‘Crotchet’ refers to the shape of the rim flange, which features a so-called hook. This supports the tyre bead and ensures reliable performance, even when using high tyre pressure (> 5 bar). ‘Tubeless’ means that the rim can be ridden without an inner tube, although a setup with an inner tube is also possible.
