WTB HTZ Rim

The HTZ rims are built to be more robust in every respect: significantly thicker rim walls, a tried-and-tested I-beam centre section, asymmetrical spoke holes and a reliable 6069 aluminium alloy result in a bombproof rim that doesn’t cost a fortune.

The HTZ rims are not a gimmick where a company slaps the name ‘e-bike’ onto a downhill component just to ride the e-bike wave. The additional weight and the resulting forces on e-bikes are significantly higher than on conventional bicycles. HTZ rims were developed with the stipulation that they must not compromise under any circumstances or on any bike without having set a weight target. Ultimately, HTZ is the most bombproof rim you can buy for your e-bike.

The patented 4D spoke hole ensures the best possible spoke nipple fit and distributes tension more evenly over a larger area. This ensures outstanding durability. The integration of the WTB Solid Strip into the rims provides a very easy-to-fit and reliable tubeless system. A recessed channel in the centre of the TCS 2.0 rims allows for the installation of the all-new Solid Strip, which prevents the tubeless strip from sagging at the spoke holes and guarantees a smooth, even connection between tyre and rim.

WTB I-Beam:

the advanced I-Beam construction reinforces the rim with an internal cross-brace and offers exceptionally high stiffness. The rims have proven themselves on the toughest courses, from gravel to the Enduro World Series.
