Shimano SMMT900 Centerlock brake disc

The RT MT900 brake discs are assigned by Shimano to the Dura-Ace, XTR and Saint series, but can of course also be used with other Shimano disc brakes.

The Shimano RTMT900 Ice Tech Freeza brake discs feature additional cooling fins. The Centre Lock brake discs on the aluminium carrier are manufactured using a sandwich construction. The aluminium core is encased by the steel braking surface. This significantly reduces heat build-up and increases the durability of all Shimano brakes.

This lockring, featuring internal splines for the tool, can be fitted to hubs with 12 mm thru-axles or quick-release mounts

Internal spline lockring – internal tool engagement: 23 mm inner diameter with 12-tooth spline, compatible tools e.g. Shimano TLLR15, Pedro’s 6460000. Corresponds to the tool for Shimano and SRAM cassette installation

Shimano Ice Tech Freeza:

Freeza brake discs exhibit even less fading due to lower heat build-up compared to standard Shimano IceTec brake discs. The three-layer sandwich construction consists of stainless steel flanges and an aluminium core with integrated cooling fins. The two-piece design with the aluminium carrier dissipates heat effectively. The dirt-repellent design extends the service life of both the disc and the pads.

This Ice Tech brake disc is compatible with all Shimano hydraulic disc brakes.
