29-inch wheelset Shimano XT plus DT Swiss X 432

The wheelset for cross-country use. Thanks to a 25 mm inner rim width, it is suitable for tyres up to 2.6 inches wide, and the robust Shimano XT hubs make it very durable and low-maintenance.

We offer this wheelset with different axle options, so you can put together the right version for your bike. The Shimano XT M8010B hubs are available for 15x110 and 12x148mm Boost mounting, the M8010 for 15x100 and 12x142mm thru-axle mounting, and the M8000 for quick-release mounting. T

Wheel building at TNC-Hamburg:

We hand-build these wheels exclusively for you. Thanks to over 30 years’ experience in wheel building, we extract the optimum in roundness, durability and stiffness from the materials. These wheels are, of course, tested multiple times, and we also pre-load the spokes in the longitudinal direction. This eliminates the need for re-truing over a long period.

These wheels are made especially for you, which is why we cannot offer a right of return for them.

Shimano XT Hubs M8010 / M800

New seals and axles provide reliable protection against contamination of the bearings. Equipped with a new 4-pawl freehub body for loss-free power transmission. The Centerlock mount allows for easy mounting of Shimano Centerlock brake discs. An adapter is available for 6-bolt brake discs.

DT Swiss Competition spokes:

The double cold-forged spoke made from rust-resistant 18/10 chrome-nickel steel with a tapered middle section for robust, lightweight wheelsets. We recommend these spokes for virtually all wheelsets. Extremely durable and sufficiently lightweight, DT Competition spokes enable wheel building of the highest standard. Thanks to the tapered section in the middle, the spokes absorb movements in the wheel exceptionally well, without compromising on lateral stiffness and durability.

DT Swiss X 412 Rim

The affordable and robust cross-country rim from DT Swiss with a 22.5 mm rim width. With the X 412 rim, DT Swiss offers a lightweight rim, weighing 440 grams, for pure race and cross-country wheels. Cleanly finished, the DT Swiss X 412 rim offers low weight combined with good strength. Recommended for a system weight (rider plus bike) of up to 110 kg.

DT Swiss Squorx Pro Head spoke nipples:

The DT Squorx Pro Head nipple combines ease of installation, light weight and top performance in a single product. The Torx head makes lacing flat spokes a breeze. The spherical contact surface ensures perfect alignment with the spoke, whilst the square section allows for easy re-centring with standard tools whilst the tyre is fitted.
