The Shimano XT Hollowtech II crankset for the Shimano 10-speed drivetrain. The crankset is fitted with particularly durable aluminium chainrings. Thanks to Shimano XT Dyna-Sys component technology, featuring a 10-speed cassette and 38-24-tooth chainrings, a significantly closer gear ratio is achieved, resulting in smoother and more effortless gear changes and reducing chain tension by up to 31 per cent. The chainline is optimised for a double setup and the Q-factor is reduced. Limiting the setup to two chainrings results in a significant weight saving.
The Shimano Hollowtech II cranksets can also be combined with Pressfit 92 bottom bracket shells, with a press-fit diameter of 41 mm. The SM-BB71-41 bottom bracket is then required in addition
