Shimano XT HG-X95 Bicycle Chain

The new version of the Shimano XT 10-speed chain with Sil Tech coating. Made from high-quality and particularly robust zinc alloy, the Shimano HG 94 chain is also extremely durable. To ensure perfect shifting performance, the chain is directional; the inner chain plates are specially shaped for fast and smooth shifting.

Shimano HG-X chains

Shimano HG-X chains are directional and specially developed for use on mountain bikes. These chains shift more smoothly and save weight. The outer side features a design adapted to the tooth shape of the chainring, optimised for front shifting. The inner side of the HG-X is optimised for rear shifting and ensures smooth and fast gear changes at the rear wheel.

Shimano SIL-TEC

is Shimano’s new, extremely low-friction surface treatment using fluorine particles. Chains treated in this way run more quietly, attract less dirt and last longer
