DT Swiss 350 Straightpull plus RR 521 Rim

The wheelset for road, gravel and cyclocross use. Very stable and light, durable and, of course, tubeless-ready, suitable for tyres from 23–40 mm wide. We offer this wheelset with 6-bolt disc and Centerlock hubs, also in the Boost version for the new gravel frames with Boost mounting dimensions

The DT Swiss 350 Straightpull hubs can be adapted to all standard mounting dimensions and mounts using different end stops, even as a retrofit.

Please note that Boost hubs cannot be converted to the standard mounting dimensions, nor can standard hubs be converted to the Boost standard. On Boost hubs, the brake disc mount is positioned further out.

Wheel building at TNC-Hamburg:

We manufacture these wheels entirely by hand for you. Thanks to more than 30 years’ experience in wheel building, we extract the optimum in concentricity, durability and stiffness from the material. These wheels are, of course, pressure-tested multiple times, and we also pre-load the spokes in the longitudinal direction. This eliminates the need for re-centring over a long period of time.

These wheels are made specifically for you, which is why we cannot offer a right of return for them.

DT Swiss 350 Straightpull hubs

With the 350 hubs, DT Swiss offers affordable, high-quality hubs. Robust, maintenance-free hubs offering excellent value for money. From road bike to downhill versions, the 350 hub range is designed for maximum durability. Straightpull refers to straight, non-offset spokes. Thanks to this technology, it is possible to achieve an ideal balance between weight and stability. The straight-pull spokes allow for very precise alignment and optimised positioning within the wheel, resulting in a stiffer and more responsive wheel. We offer the wheelset with Centerlock and Disc 6-hole 350 straight-pull hubs. Also available in a Boost version for the new gravel frames with the Boost mounting standard.

DT Competition spokes:

The double cold-forged spoke made from rust-resistant 18/10 chrome-nickel steel with a tapered middle section for robust, lightweight wheels. We recommend these spokes for virtually all wheels. Extremely durable and sufficiently lightweight, the DT Competition spokes enable wheel building of the highest standard. Thanks to the tapered section, the spokes absorb movement in the wheel exceptionally well, without compromising on lateral stiffness or durability. Weight with nipple approx. 7 grams

DT Swiss Aero Comp spokes

This spoke is first cold-forged in the middle section to make it lighter and stronger. In a further complex process, it is flat-forged to optimise aerodynamic properties whilst increasing material strength. The DT Aero Comp guarantees a balanced ratio of stiffness, aerodynamics and durability. This spoke fits hubs with standard bore holes.

DT Swiss Aero Lite spokes:

The DT Swiss Aerolite spoke is flatter and lighter than any other; the DT Swiss Aerolite spoke features an aerodynamic flat profile and is extremely lightweight. Thanks to the 0.9 x 2.3 mm aerodynamic mid-section, this spoke can be fitted to all standard hubs. The Cold Forging Technology (CFT) developed by DT Swiss makes the reduced and forged DT Aerolite the lightest stainless steel spoke and gives it excellent mechanical properties. Particularly suitable for super-light and fast road or cross-country wheelsets. 64 DT Aerolite spokes weigh an incredible 278 g at a length of 264 mm. Weight per spoke at 264 mm length: 4.31 grams

DT Swiss Aero RR 521 DB asymmetrical rim

The gravel, cross and road rim, DT Swiss RR 521 DB, designed for use with disc brakes, is extremely stable thanks to its high-strength aluminium alloy and 24 mm rim width. With a rim width of 20 mm, the DT Swiss RR 521 DB rim is ideal for tyre sizes ranging from 28 to 40 mm. Cleanly finished, with a welded joint, CNC-machined sidewalls and a 32 mm high rim bed, the DT Swiss RR 511 DB offers the ideal rim for building lightweight and aerodynamic wheelsets. Thanks to the high profile, the DT Swiss RR 521 DB rims are stable enough to build a stable and durable wheelset even with a low spoke count.

The DT Swiss RR 521 DB rims are high-end rims featuring a special spoke nipple mount and are supplied with special DT Squorx Pro Head nipples and PHR washers; they must only be laced using these nipples. Furthermore, the DT RR 511 rims are tubeless-ready
