DT Swiss 350 Classic plus RR 511 wheel

A good, affordable wheelset for road bikes with rim brakes. Aerodynamic and stable at approx. 1900 grams, suitable for tyres 19–35 mm wide. The DT Swiss 350 series hubs are only available with 32 and 28 holes. The hubs are available in 28 and 32 holes and with Shimano/SRAM HG11, Campagnolo ED and SRAM XD freehubs.

We offer the wheels with freehub bodies for Shimano or Campagnolo cassettes. The DT Swiss 350 is designed for classic quick-release mounting.

Wheel building at TNC-Hamburg:

We manufacture these wheels entirely by hand for you. Thanks to more than 30 years’ experience in wheel building, we extract the optimum in concentricity, durability and stiffness from the material. These wheels are, of course, tested multiple times for truing, and we also pre-tension the spokes in the longitudinal direction. This eliminates the need for re-truing over a long period.

DT Swiss 350 Classic Hubs

With the 350 hubs, DT Swiss offers affordable, high-quality hubs. From road bike to downhill versions, the 350 hub range is designed for maximum durability. Equipped with high-quality seals and bearings, they are the ideal choice if you are looking for hubs for durable, low-maintenance wheelsets. The DT 350 rear hubs are also fitted with DT’s patented freehub body system. Two toothed discs mesh together to ensure loss-free power transmission.

DT Competition Spokes:

The double cold-forged spoke made from rust-resistant 18/10 chrome-nickel steel with a tapered middle section for robust, lightweight wheels. We recommend these spokes for virtually all wheels. Extremely durable and sufficiently lightweight, DT Competition spokes enable wheel building of the highest standard. Thanks to the tapered section in the middle, the spokes absorb movements in the wheel exceptionally well, without compromising on lateral stiffness or durability. Weight with nipple approx. 7 grams

DT Swiss Aero Comp spokes:

Designed for stable, laterally stiff yet aerodynamic wheelsets, the DT Swiss Aero Comp spoke in the straight-pull version is first cold-forged in the middle section, making it lighter and stronger. In a further complex process, it is flat-forged to optimise aerodynamic properties whilst simultaneously increasing material strength. The DT Aero Comp guarantees a balanced combination of stiffness, aerodynamics and durability.

DT Swiss Aero Lite spokes:

The DT Swiss Aerolite spoke is flatter and lighter than any other; the DT Swiss Aerolite spoke features an aerodynamic flat profile and is extremely lightweight. Thanks to the 0.9 x 2.3 mm aerodynamic mid-section, this spoke can be fitted to all standard hubs. The Cold Forging Technology (CFT) developed by DT Swiss makes the reduced and forged DT Aerolite the lightest stainless steel spoke and gives it excellent mechanical properties. Particularly suitable for super-light and fast road or cross-country wheelsets. 64 DT Aerolite spokes weigh an incredible 278 g at a length of 264 mm. Weight per spoke at a length of 264 mm: 4.31 grams.

DT Swiss RR 511 rim

The RR 511 road and cyclocross rim from DT Swiss for aerodynamic wheelsets. Very stable thanks to a high-strength aluminium alloy and a 21.5 mm rim width. With a clean finish, welded joint, CNC-machined sidewalls and a 32 mm high rim bed, the DT Swiss RR 511 is the ideal rim for building lightweight and aerodynamic wheelsets. Thanks to its high profile, the DT Swiss RR 511 rims are sturdy enough to build a stable and durable wheelset even with a low spoke count.

The DT Swiss RR 511 rims are high-end rims with a special spoke nipple mount and are supplied with special DT Squorx Pro Head nipples and PHR washers; they must only be laced using these nipples. Furthermore, the DT RR 511 rims are tubeless-ready.
